Library Membership
Library Membership costs $80 for the general public and $40 for people aged over 60, full-time students (primary, high school and tertiary). Adult class students have free membership for the duration of their enrolment in a course.
Members have access to:
- In-house resources
- Loans of most resources in the collection
- Use of computers - internet, word processing, CD-ROMs and the online library catalogue
- Printing from computers
- Photocopying of resources on purchase of a photocopy card
- Booking for in-house audio, video and computer facilities
- Newsletter
Membership is:
- Open to all residents in NSW
- By calendar year
Available to individuals (no institutions or groups)
Application:
Applications are to be made at the Centre. Proof of current residential address is required. Borrowing is permitted on completion of application.
Loan period:Member Type*
- Teacher member 28 days maximum 10 loans
- Other Sydney member 21 days maximum5 loans
- Other Regional member 28 days maximum 5 loans

All members can borrow a maximum of 3 DVDs for a period of 2 weeks

Note: Regional NSW members may request loans by mail, fax, telephone or email. Mailing costs outward are paid by the Centre, return costs by the member.
Loan renewals: one renewal on each item, provided it is not overdue or reserved by another member.
Overdue loans: These attract fines of $0.20 per open day per item and prevent further borrowing. Items overdue 10 weeks are deemed lost and charged at replacement cost plus a processing fee.
Fines: Payable at the Centre by cash, cheque or credit card
