The 2021 ABS Census of Population and Housing statistics found that people born in Italy had the highest rate of dementia in comparison to all CALD communities in Australia.
This year the funds raised will go towards employing a Dementia Support Advisor. The Advisor will provide education, resources, carer training and social support to improve the lives of older Italians living with dementia.
